Shipping Options:

At Real Gourmet Food, we are committed to ensuring the highest quality and freshness of our products from our kitchen to your door. However, it's important to note that once we hand over your order to the carrier, Real Gourmet Food cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during shipping. To tailor our delivery process to your needs and ensure a smooth experience, we kindly ask you to select from the following two options when placing your order:

  1. "Yes, Leave at My Door" Option:

    • By choosing this option, you authorize the carrier to leave the shipment at your door without requiring a signature.
    • Please understand that by selecting this, you assume full responsibility for any loss or spoilage of the product after it's left at your doorstep.
    • This option is ideal if you prefer convenience and are comfortable with the shipment being left unattended.
    • If the carrier cannot gain access to your premises or deems it unsafe for drop-off, you agree to promptly coordinate with the carrier to pick it up from the nearest pickup facility.
  2. "Signature Required" Option:

    • If you select this option, the shipment will not be left at your door without a signature.
    • In this case, you assume full responsibility for any loss or spoilage of the product if nobody is available at the delivery address to sign for the package and refrigerate perishable items upon delivery.
    • This option is recommended if you prefer added security for your delivery, ensuring that your products are personally received.
    • If the carrier cannot gain access to your premises for a signature or no  one is present to sign for delivery, you agree to promptly coordinate with the carrier to pick it up from the nearest pickup facility.

Shipping Policies for Perishable Items:

    Orders placed Thursday after 11 am through Sunday:
    These orders are processed and shipped out on the following Monday, ensuring arrival at your doorstep by Tuesday.
    Orders placed Monday through Wednesday:
    We take just one day to prepare your order, but if we can get it ready sooner, we absolutely will. We ship them out on the next business day following processing for overnight delivery, bringing freshness directly to you.

      Shipping Policies for Non-Perishable Items:

      Orders placed Thursday after 11 am through Sunday:

       

       

      These non-perishable orders are processed and shipped out on the following Monday. Expect your order to arrive within 3-8 business days, or sooner, with Ground Shipping, or select a quicker shipping option.

       

      Orders placed Monday through Wednesday:

      We take 1-2 days to process these orders.

      They are then shipped out on the next business day.

      Choose Ground Shipping for delivery within 3-8 business days, or sooner, or or select a quicker shipping option.

      Shipping Policies for Combined Orders (Perishable and Non-Perishable Items):

        Shipping Method for Combined Orders:

        Tracking: You will receive tracking updates for each shipment, ensuring you are informed about the delivery status of your items.

        Note: Ground shipping (for non-perishable items) does not guarantee the date of delivery. Therefore, there are no refunds or claims possible for late arrivals. If you require your entire order to arrive on a specific date, we suggest you simply choose the Overnight Shipping method and then select the delivery date you prefer on the checkout page. 

        • Default Shipping: Typically, if your order includes both perishable and non-perishable items, we ship everything together via Priority Overnight Shipping for the quickest delivery.
        • Split Shipping Option: In some cases, we may split your order into separate packages. The perishable items will be shipped according to the perishable items shipping rule, and the non-perishable items will follow the non-perishable items shipping rule.

        Shipping and Handling Charges

        U.S. Contiguous States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and all other U.S. territories)

        • Ground Delivery Shipping
          • Economy (3-8 bus day or sooner) is $20
          • Express (1-2 business days) is $25
          • Used for non-perishable items only
        • Priority Overnight Shipping
          • Overnight Shipping (Next business day after fulfillment) $35 for up to 2 lbs in weight plus $3/pound thereafter. 
          • Required for perishable items but can be used for non-perishable items if an exact delivery date is required.
          • Delivery in 1 business day.

        Alaska and Hawaii

        • Priority Overnight Shipping only
          • The shipping rate of $48
          • Used for all items

        International delivery (Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, and other countries)

        Multi-Warehouse Shipping

        Some products could be shipped from different warehouses. In this case, shipping rates will be calculated separately for every warehouse by standard rates. Full information about shipment costs will be available on the checkout page during the order process.

        Heavy Products

        Heavy products do not qualify for free shipping. Heavy products include, but are not limited to: whole meats and fish, bulk cheese, cheese wheels, pastry butter sheets and more. Heavy products weigh 2+ pounds each before without ice and shipping packaging. For each heavy product item added to the cart or heavy order, an extra per-lb charge is applied:

        • US states, other than Alaska and Hawaii
          • With Ground Shipping: an extra $1.50 per lb
          • With Priority Overnight Shipping: an extra $3.00 per lb
        • Alaska and Hawaii
          • With Priority Overnight Shipping only: an extra $4.95 per lb

        Frozen and refrigerated items

        Frozen or refrigerated items must be delivered with a significant amount of ice in the package. For each heavy item or heavy order with frozen or refrigerated storage type, there is an ice weight ratio of 1.5.

        Regardless of how you place your order – online, through email, over the phone, or in person – the same policies are in effect. These policies cover Real Gourmet Food's procedures for shipping, returns, exchanges, and payments. By placing an order with us, you are agreeing to these terms. Our goal is to make your experience seamless and transparent.
